Relax, let go....renew.
The unique quality of the Hamman Bath is an ancient Moroccan ritual (and a present-day tradition) that immerses you in the complete beauty of scientifically proven healing and mood-boosting botanicals.
Calendula: Antifungal, Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and other skin irritations.
Chamomile: Helps even skin tone, fade spots, clear acne scars, and breakouts, has anti-inflammatory properties, antiseptic properties, and is filled with antioxidants to help break down and purge antioxidants.
Oat Tops: Packed with vitamins and minerals including magnesium with it's calming properties and calcium. Oat Tops are considered a powerhouse in calming the nerves, as well as being excellent gentle exfoliators. Also offers a translucent to milky, gliding and soothing quality when mixed with water.
Lavender: Antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities that have been shown to heal bug bites and other irritations. Studies show that lavender is useful for addressing anxiety, depression, insomnia and restlessness, including restless leg syndrome.
Rose petals and rose hips: Seeds specifically are packed with powerful vitamin C proven to heal the body in numerous ways including boost immune function of the cells. Rose petals, a standard of Ayurveda, have been shown to reduce stress, give a glow to the skin and they contain sugars and oils that help to lock moisture into the skin.
Saffron: This cancer-fighting spice s a very rare ingredient in skincare because of it's rarity and cost, yet it is extremely powerful to help deter acne, inflammation, fungus, and bacteria. It is packed with antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. Used to treat over 90 disorders, ancient Greek legends speak of soldiers voyaging miles to get this most valuable spice. From Cleopatra and her love of saffron in cosmetics and baths to healing gastrointestinal ailments - Saffron is an ancient and present-day super-spice.
This carotenoid spice contributes to its anti-cancer properties and some studies show that the crocin in saffron can prevent leukemia and breast cancer. It is also an anti-arthritic, and so much more. It is an overall body, mind and skin-loving spice.
Himalayan Sea Salt: Packed with vitamins, minerals, and soothing properties, the salt helps to neutralize water and the skin.

You will notice that the botanical "salt" that you will hardly see the salt! We added just enough salt to add some pH to your water & keep your botanicals vibrant. The rest of your formula is botanically-packed. Unlike other companies that sprinkle herbs and botanicals where you see mostly salt and a few petals, you will notice that this is absolutely packed with naturally fragrant ingredients.
How to Use:
On the label, I originally felt that a 1/4 cup of the Hamman Ritual was appropriate, but upon further testing, you can easily get a beautiful experience with just one or two cap fulls in your bath.
How to Create a Hamman Ritual Bath:
Step One: One or two capfuls (or as much as you wish), beginning with just enough water to skim the hips.
Step Two: While the water is just at hip level, begin cupping some botanicals and using them to exfoliate your face first. Then, the rest of your skin. You will notice that the stems, petals, and seeds will begin to turn to a powder; keep going! Allow the botanicals to break down and release more nourishment.
Step Three: After you have exfoliated, and begin to add more water to your bath, you'll notice that the water glides more on your skin; use this time to give yourself a light massage, beginning at toes and feet, and up to the neck and scalp.
We invite you to also pour some of the water over your hair and massage into the scalp.
After you have exfoliated, add more warm water to the bath and then relax for 15-20 minutes while you take in the aroma of the experience.
As a Facial Steam
A small bowl or cup with a pinch of Hamman Ritual, and very hot water. Have your hair pulled back if it is long, and allow your face to take in the steam, perhaps with a light cotton scarf or towel over your head to trap the steam and relax with slow inhalations and exhalations. *you may opt to use the facial steam as an exfoliating face steam as well, by using some of the formula to massage and exfoliate the skin.
