Ladies, you might be surprised but when you "check him out" you are spending more time on his back, than any other part of him. Well, at least that is what a scientific study says.
When women look at men, they assess body type and overall muscularity, which the upper and lower back being the larger "scan area".
With very muscular men, thy spend more time looking at the upper back, that "V" area that is more pronounced. Good news men who are thinner or less muscular, you get almost, the same attention.
In heavier men, even if he is muscular, women spend more time looking at his waistline and buttocks. This isn't to say that they are not as interested in the heavier male, they just might be attracted to the male with more lower body circumference. No where in the study, did the women say that they were not attracted to the heavier male; they simply gazed in different areas.
Some women describe thin men by activity, "He must be a runner" or personality "He looks nervous".
Muscular men are often described as "Manly" "fit" or "firm".
Heavier men are often described as "rugged" or "stocky".
However, younger women ultimately find the thin or muscular man the men to have children with, because perhaps it taps into evolution, where those men appear more healthy, more able to fight disease. However, older women see very fit men as self-centered and those with a bit of extra weight as more financially stable.
Women overall, did not have an adverse reaction, to any of the shapes.
