Ayurvedic Programs
Although Ayurveda is traditional to Eastern wellness, we realize that we are living in a global, meshed world and have the opportunity and blessing to cultivate many methods of wellness from various cultures. However, we start with the foundation of ancient Ayurveda.
Ayurveda is essentially a proven wisdom that helps us to better understand what conditions help us to survive in a more quality focused life. Ayurveda can decrease a variety of symptoms from emotional to physical and often, clients remark that they not only addressed their complaints but feel even more vital than they expected.
The Forest
Look at our society like a forest. In a forest there is life of different shapes and sizes and even within a species, there are nuances that are different. If we transplant a flower from a forest, we will not mirror exactly it's indigenous life, but we will try to make the transition for the plant easier, and the plant will try to adapt. This is what we are like; we are not indigenous to asphalt roads or living and working in mostly interior and inorganic structures. We also are not eating foods that are indigenous to our surroundings, and some of us do not even eat whole foods but mostly a mixture of questionable and unhealthy chemicals.
The Tree
Sometimes, as the saying goes, we can't see the trees through the forest. This is so symbolic of our wellness. In Ayurveda, we'll take your wellness seriously, and look at your lifestyle and your concerns, never downplaying your medical professionals insight or diagnoses, but working alongside of such. Like a tree in a storm, the tree that is pliable bends and doesn't break. Because of this we focus on never creating a rigid program; your program must always be as pliable as a tree that weathers a storm.
If you observe, you will notice be it a drug addict or a person addicted to rigid workouts, there always is a pain as the end result gain. The person feels a "high" then drops to a low when the addiction starts to "bite back". This is not at all the way Ayurveda at our spa will make you feel. You will take an active role in your wellness. Your ultimate goal will be that your body, mind and emotions will be more pliable and strong to weather the storms of life and your program should reflect such.

Ayurvedic Programs
There are three types of Ayurvedic Programs offered at the spa. Please note you may choose any yoga class or service on your own, but if you'd like to be guided, you will be given access to a password protected intake form online to complete.
1. Ayurvedic Yoga
This is the program to explore if you are only interested in yoga, and the best yoga classes for your composition.
2. Ayurvedic Services
This is for you if you will not be participating in yoga for your composition, and want to only explore services.
3. Ayurvedic Comprehensive
This is the program if you want to explore both yoga and services in your wellness, as well as Ayurvedic diet and
Please note that any of these programs can be customized. Since budget is a reality for many clients, upon first glance you may feel that the Comprehensive program is more costly. Not so. There are no cookie cutter costs to any of the programs once implemented. For instance, someone in the Ayurvedic Yoga program may want to take ten classes a week. That will be more costly than the person in the Comprehensive program who may opt to take one class a week and one service a month. The program is customized by you, thus you control the fee and activity level in which you participate. At any time you may add or remove aspects to your program.
The Consultations help guide you so that you can make more informed decisions, and the follow up appointments review progress, evaluate you, modify if needed and create fine-tuning as you hit challenges as well as healing strides.
Protocol:
Initial Intake
Prospective clients will need to fill out an intake form in full, on the password protected link, at least 48 hours before consultation. When you purchase the consultation of your choice, you will be emailed or called, with the password. If you wish, you may also at this time, ask your doctor to release your medical file (in whole or part) to the spa for the purpose of working alongside of them or, you will sign a waiver that states you are able to fully participate in a wellness program that may include changes in activity and diet. All information collected is strictly confidential.
Consultation
The consultation, held in the spa office, will be scheduled and you should expect that it could take up to 60-90 minutes. During that time, you will learn about Ayurveda as it applies to your personal constitution, and I will propose a general treatment plan for you to follow, integrating practices that you could begin to integrate into your life.
Follow-Up Consultations
Follow-Up Consultations are recommended as-needed only, though the norm is that clients do best on bi-weekly consultations in the beginning of their program, and then are often comfortable after a certain level of self-healing, to consult seasonally. It is expected that some symptoms will clear up quickly while others will be more challenging or, take longer to fade. Remember that most unwell, anxiety or symptoms took years to manifest because your wellness focus was passive; they will not vanish overnight. That being said, a clear, active focus on addressing them can often tackle them effectively, with relative brevity.

Ayurveda does not replace western medicine nor your medical professionals diagnoses or treatment. Ayurveda will not diagnose or treat disease, but instead work with symptoms, root issues and the overall holistic focus. That being said, many people have found relief and reversal from many medical diagnoses and were able to slow down or stop medical treatments or prescriptions. It is suggested that you keep a very open communication with your medical professional as you participate in your Ayurveda program.
