"Shift Happens "30 Days of Gratitude for Busy People.
For 30 days, in November, we are focusing on stopping the busy chatter and clatter of the mind and body that creates blocks and obstacles for us; and we will be creating an enhanced shift
....yoga, the season with an attitude of gratitude, and the amazing shift a steady practice
can bring more clearly to focus ..and we'll do it every day in November!
Challenge Includes:
A Challenge T-Shirt (of course!)
-10 Award Points
-A Manual of Prompts to help you design purpose to your practice, gratitude & shift in position-inspired.
-Initial Meeting where you will find out more, and who your secret buddy is (shhhhhhh don't tell)
-End of Challenge awards & gathering/sharing, meet your buddy!
-Opportunities to participate in mini studio-led videos so others can be inspired by your practice. *at Mysore & after Mysore practices.
-Opportunity to participate in photo shoot (before and after) *at meetings
-A Shift Happens Gratitude "secret buddy" will be assigned.
-A "how to" buddy sheet :)
-Free Weekend Mysore practices (see below)
Most importantly, an experience that is founded in the roots of yoga; to more fully understand how yoga and a different perspective can shift your position in life, and how you can easily both lead the way, be inspired and inspire others.
Additional Weekend (free) Mysore style (not led but inspired by Gratitude prompts) (potentially adding four classes to your class card!), but you must attend that week on your class card to obtain the weekend Mysore 90 minutes. *You will receive a "Mysore" pass when you attend during the week to redeem for your free class*
But you must....
(1)Attend 2 regularly scheduled classes a week; they can be in yoga or meditation, and any of our workshops also count.
**this means you will have at least 3 classes a week over 4 weeks of an in-studio practice of 12 classes.
(2)Your other 18 challenges will be journaling or photographs of your yoga practice that you must turn in weekly.
**A thought a day on the days you are not practicing in studio OR proof (photograph) of you doing yoga on the days you are not in studio in your home practice. Nothing fancy, just proof that you are taking the challenge seriously. (3) Be a responsible secret buddy; follow the guidelines of helping your buddy reach their goals of making a shift happen.
Each valid item you turn in counts as a gratitude point (two missed "points"/classes are allowed; if I have to miss a your class you get a "free" gratitude point)
Challenge Cost to Current Students: $25 for your End of Challenge embroidered T-shirt (even if you don't finish 100%, you still embarked on the shift change)
Challenge Cost to New Students: $90 for a ten class card and $25 for T-shirt, at . (buy the class card online OR with check at studio. Tshirt fee at studio with $10 exact change or check)
